Save Before You Spend
When you earn money, put at least 50% in the bank FIRST. The other 50% can go toward spending, but your future self will thank you. Your future self is very wise.

Every account needs a savings goal. You can't save for "stuff" — pick something specific! When you hit your goal, you can spend it OR set a new goal.
